 U.S. income inequality is that the richest 25% of families hold more than 90% of the nation’s wealth, and the bottom 25% have less than 1% of it.

Both income and wealth measures likely worsened this year.  U.S. billionaires increased their worth by over $800 billion or almost 30% in the six months to September.
