Well worth a read is this pamphlet called ' Money Must Go' written by two sympathisers of the Socialist Party, Philips and Renson, under the pseudonym, Philoren.
It was written during World War Two and some of their argument is based on the war-time experience of rationing yet the underlying case is still valid for today.
