A boat containing 300 people fleeing war zones and slavery, sank the other day.
240 people are confirmed dead, bringing the total of those who have lost their lives escaping unimaginable horrors to 4,200 this year. Among the dead were pregnant women and children and at least three babies.
We are not asked to consider the reasons for the horror.
We are no longer told of it.
