Youth unemployment remains high around the world, the
International Labor Organization has said. There are around 71 million people
between the ages of 15 and 29 without work, and many earn less than $2 a day. The
number of job-seeking youths would likely jump by half a million by the end of
2016.
The ILO also said while many youths in developing countries
may have jobs, 156 million of them live in poverty because they don't earn more
than $2 (1.78 euros).
