The elite group is roughly composed of 160,000 families with
assets exceeding $20 million, but their grip on America's wealth distribution
is about to surpass the bottom 90 percent for the first time in more than half
a century.
That's the way the wage system operates. We create the wealth for wages and they appropriate the lion's share. We need to change the mode of production to one where we produce for use and distribute on the basis of need. We need a classless democrcay.
But the real question is just how do we go about achieving that classless democracy?
Many have aspired towards it but so far all have failed to reach it. We can beat up on ourselves for this but better i think to try and find out the reasons why we still have the 1% exploiting us and just what we should be doing about it. Until we do have these questions effectively answered, all we can be realistically expected to do is expose the reality and keep arguing for change, hoping that some will listen and heed.
But we cannot get away from the the glaring fact that there exists a yawning chasm between the socialist movement and the present consciousness of the working class. An unpalatable truth.

This is just income too.It is not a measure of actual wealth owned by the parasite class.
Legalised dispossession.
