Jeremy Paxman has declared himself a monarchist because it is "better than any alternative".
(The Independent 14~7~17)
He blames the '60s generation for the current levels of distrust in politicians, saying the decade
"encouraged everybody to disbelieve everyone over 30".
Paxman added that spiritual figures were prepared to answer "the why" to life's big questions.
Politicians, he said, stuck to "the when, where and how".
There is an alternative, Jeremy, it's called Socialism. It's not too late for you.
We should always question what is offered to us as fact.
Politicians serve the ruling class, they don't have anything to offer the working class.
Spiritual figures are muddled in their thinking too.
