AN ODE TO PRINCE HARRY!
(Marking the occasion when Prince Harry and a girl were
photographed naked in a Las Vegas hotel bedroom!)
Oh mighty, manful, Princeling of this Land,
With thy Twin Orbs and Rod of State in hand;
One’s own Crown Jewels - nature’s ample bling,
Revealed to all in a Las Vegas sting!
‘Twas edifying bonnie, bluff Prince Hal,
On covering-up thy ‘In the buff’ young gal;
One learns, does one, when one is not alone,
Beware those cads who flash their Mobile Phone!
‘Tis evident when one’s so upper-crust,
That flaunting one’s Regalia is a must;
Hence why Flash Harry when he does his thing,
Is thus confirmed: “Ay, every inch a King”! (1)
(His English Language tutor oft recalls,
Hal dangling all of his participles;
And thought this wretched habit seemed innate,
And stemmed from an inbred regressive trait!)
Thus ‘tis the case with those of royal blood,
They oft drag their credentials through the mud;
Ignoring that relentless royal rule,
Of being not a fool or media tool.
Hence in Las Vegas - how ‘The Sun’ didst shine,
On princely parts more carnal than divine!
Exposed! News Corp’s stark photographic barb, (2)
A shy unprincely pose in nature’s garb!
(If wearing Nazi uniform’s uncool,
Then why wear any uniform at all? (3)
But show the blushing Taliban, when bare,
The Army’s secret weapon, if you dare!)
‘The Sun’s’ defence? “ ‘Tis on the Internet”,
Declaring, “What you see- is what you get”.
But Britain’s Press declared it, “Non-P.C.”
Avoiding the Ten-Thousand Dollar Fee.
‘Twould seem that dullards of a royal birth,
Are heaven sent to bring their subjects mirth;
But will Hal’s strip - upon the Vegas Strip,
Be seen as hip - or one more royal blip?!

to publish the photograph in question.

dress party dressed in Nazi clothing.
