The drip, drip, drip of propaganda by the exploitative minority into the collective consciousness of the capitalism facilitating majority continues with the aim of preparing people for military conflict with a nuclear weapons power.

Thé SOYMB cannot speak for the editors of the Socialist Standard but should the wartalk, particularly of the European Union, reach a horrible dénuement or before such a catostrophic event looks more than likely then the World Socialist Movement will certainly react.
ReplyDeleteAs previous posts in SOYMB have shown the establishment, i.e. capitalist states, are slowly preparing the differing populations, not only for the possible
likelihood of war with Russia, but the propaganda is aimed at seeking mindless support for such actions.
Members of the SPGB I am in contact with do not think there will be a war, but that all of this is just fear-mongering. I trust in their superior knowledge of economics and hope they are correct. What is your real view?
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what Europe's game is. They look set to continue the provocations. WHY would they want war? It doesn't make sense in capitalist terms.
