Guilt In The Time Of Capitalism

According to a poll conducted by BUPA Care Homes millions of workers feel they are failing to make a difference to society (The Metro, 30/11/20).

Forty-five per cent feel guilty because they don't perform a key role in helping others such as a carer or charity worker.

A similar proportion have considered changing careers to do something more fulfilling.

But about a fifth are unsure how to make the change - and have doubts about how they would cope in a new role.

Melissa Moore of BUPA Care Homes said: 'This year has really shone a light on the people making a difference so it's no surprise to see people taking stock of their own careers.'

As Socialists we want the workers to make a difference by realising that  the solution to the many problems that exist in the world is to establish
together on a worldwide basis Socialism.

Socialism will not have the many problems we have at present.
