The pack’s being shuffled, the voting cards dealt,
A top Trump lead will signal the attack,
Once a hand’s been played there’s no going back;
It’s the tricks that count and make themselves felt.
Donald claims, as he holds the winning hand,
He can only lose by way of a cheat.
Average Joe’s got his strategy planned,
He’ll go no trumps, his victory complete.
The Don, who deals to the right, is heard say,
‘Joe will lead left and then he’ll stick or twist.’
Both are known as double dealers, but that’s
Just how they play in the US of A,
Where no Democrat is a socialist,
But it’s socialists who’re the democrats.
