Discussion
and debate are important to the Socialist Party and we welcome
criticism. Take advantage of this street stall to quiz and question
members of the Socialist Party. Challenge them on our case for
socialism.
The
one thing that most clearly distinguishes the Socialist Party from the
other political parties which claim to be socialist is our view that
the only possible basis for social change is an understanding of
socialist principles and we make that a condition of membership.
The Street Stall won't be dishing out any of our little red cards simply
because you wish one and willing to pay your first membership dues.
The
Socialist Party does not consider itself as just another bunch of
aspiring politicians telling you to trust in us and promising you
almost anything for the sake of winning your support. The Socialist
Party thinks itself different and that we are the political tool to
be used by the working class to transform the world from a chaos of
deprivation and strife into an order of abundance and harmony.
