Elor Azaria, an Israeli soldier who murdered wounded Abdel Fattah al-Sharif, shooting him in the head at point-blank range as he was lying on the ground in the West Bank city of Hebron in 2016 said he had “no regrets.” He served nine months of his 14-month manslaughter sentence and was released three months ago.
“I would act exactly the same, because that’s how I needed to act.”
