When an atrocity is committed by an "ally" and wealthy customer, how easy it is for the BBC to be vague on the culprit.

"Forty-two people have been killed when a boat carrying Somali refugees off the coast of Yemen was fired at from a helicopter...It remains unclear who carried out the attack."

The helicopter has been identified as an Apache gunship, Saudi Arabia  possesses such helicopters and Saudi Arabia are enforcing a maritime blockade of Yemen in the area. 

But the BBC, nevertheless, awaits a confession before reaching a conclusion.
