The UK is home to 10,400 “ultra-high net worth individuals”
– people with assets of £20m or more, set to rise to nearly 12,000 by 2018.
Almost nine in 10 of the UK’s individuals were aged 45 or
more and often had inherited their fortunes through family businesses.
