A 15-year-old boy, Adam Hussein, was struck by an SUV outside
the Somali Center in Kansas City, Missouri, a mosque in the area. His legs were
severed, leading to enormous blood loss. He was sent to nearby Children's Mercy
Hospital, but was declared brain-dead and taken off of life support.
“It became pretty clear that this was not an accidental
crash, there is a considerable amount of evidence that leads us to believe it
was intentional,” said Sergeant Bill Mahoney.
The suspect who is now in jail has a history of hating Muslims.
