Nor will it effect the Queen. She is to receive a £5 million pay rise from £31 million a year to £36.1 million. Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms. These include 19 State rooms, 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms. As someone living in social housing, just how much of this benefit is going to be cut for spare rooms under the bedroom tax”. Not to mention Windsor Castle and Holyrood House.
