The American National Nurses Union went to their membership. "Who would be willing to go to Haiti right now?" Almost 12,000 nurses signed up, who are willing to go right now to Haiti.Imagine if we could get 12,000 nurses there , with the necessary supplies, how many people could have been helped.
Instead the Americans turned away medical aid planes so they could offload thousands of Marines to establish security and "law and order"
