Bernie Sanders efforts to become the next president of the USA is all but over. It is inevitable, just as in 2016, Sanders will eventually endorse the Democratic Party candidate, Joe Biden.
Bernie remains in the running in the very forlorn hope that his grassroots movement can shift Biden more to the left so to include some of Sanders popular policies such as Medicare For All, the Green New Deal and the end of college fees and student debt.
Sanders, regardless of his sincerity, forgot that governments are but the executive committees of the ruling class and those who challenge the class interests of the oligarchs and plutocrats will be denied political power. The system will always favor the 1% against the 99%.
